Presenting the $10,000 1928 Series US Dollar, featuring Salmon P. Chase – who was the sixth Chief Justice of the United States. He also served as the first Republican Governor of Ohio, represented Ohio in the United States Senate, and served as the 25th United States Secretary of the Treasury.
This was part of the 1928 Gold Certificates series, the last to be released before their confiscation during the Great Depression.
